Joplin Relief

June 8, 2011 § Leave a comment

And no, I don’t mean relief from Janis Joplin.

On May 22nd, 2011, the town of Joplin, MO was hit by a devastating tornado. The art directors at Moosylvania, a design firm based in St.Louis, MO, have put together a series of posters sold at $25 each to benefit the city. All the proceeds  are going to the United Way Small Business Fund – a project created to help in the economic reconstruction of Joplin after many of the city’s small businesses were destroyed by the tornado.

You can buy the posters here. Sales end June 20, depending on demand, with posters being created and shipped within 2-3 weeks of the closing date. You can contact the Moose folks  at store@moosylvania.com with any questions.

Big thanks to HOW for sharing this way to support the community in Joplin.
